Roy Hudgens, DMD

Roy Hudgens, DMD, is a restorative and cosmetic dentist and the founder of Hudgens Dental in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Hudgens has provided high-quality dental services to families for over 25 years. 

Dr. Hudgens completed his bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of South Carolina. Following his studies, he went on to receive his dental education at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and graduated in 1990 with his doctorate in dental medicine. After graduating from dental school, he completed a two year residency in general dentistry at MUSC.

During his two-year residency, Dr. Hudgens was trained alongside top dentists in their field and trained in advanced techniques in periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. He furthered his education by completing two additional years in oral surgery. 

Dr. Hudgens entered into private practice in 1996, and he has since been providing care to residents in and around the West Ashley area of Charleston, South Carolina. 

With extensive graduate training in multiple dental specialties, Dr. Hudgens offers his patients a comfortable dental home and a place where they can receive most of their dental needs in one office. Families and individuals love the welcoming and convenient practice and enjoy the positive experiences with his team. 

The Hudgens family has lived in the Charleston area since 1986 and is happy to be a part of the wonderful community.
